Requirements of Evolutionary Belief
(We’re allowed a little humor, aren’t we?)
1) In order to believe in evolution, acknowledging the year should be avoided. 2007 years since what? The birth of Jesus of course. We should consider the year something like 2,478,256,972, to acknowledge when the rock (or other unknown, unspecified inanimate matter) gave birth to the paramecium (or other unknown, unspecified single-celled organism) in the imaginary primordial soup that nobody can prove existed.
2) In subscribing to Darwinism, the word “love” should be avoided. Use a term like “have positive chemical reactions when near,” or other Darwin-compliant descriptive terms.
3) In believing in evolution, the number of days of the week should be avoided. The number of days of the week are based on the seven days (one of rest) God used to make the Universe. In contrast, Standard Darwinist operating procedure is to believe the Universe created itself for no reason out of nothing.
4) If evolution is true, owning pets is practically a form of slavery. Descendants of those “pets” we own will be people someday. How long will it be before we draw the line between owning pets and enslaving our peers? Those pets’ descendants deserve better than to have us degrading the integrity of their lineage.
5) If evolution is true, we must be wary of the apes taking over. Isn’t just a matter of time before all the apes, chimps and monkeys will morph into walking, talking ape-men? This is a frightening realization, since monkeys are several times stronger than us. It’s the cornerstone of Darwin’s foundation....Be on the lookout. Oh...and bad news... dolphins are even smarter than monkeys. How long until they become intelligent enough to build an underwater assault against humanity?
6) If evolution is in fact true, somebody should figure out how it works. Seriously, we’ve been looking for that ever-elusive lizard-bird transitional fossil for ~150 years, and still, nothing? Nobody has any idea what “primordial soup” is, nor how a single celled organism could become a multi-celled organism, nor how a lizard could possibly morph into a mammal like Darwin falsely prophesied. Should we keep our lack of evidence a secret, and pretend that lots of other people understand it?
On a more serious note...
Why has Darwinism saturated society’s thinking?
One of the societal obsessions of the United States of late is the separation of church and state phenomenon. People are going gung-ho to make sure that nothing resembling belief in God is represented anywhere in any public building. But the question we propose is: What about the separation of atheism and state?
Whenever evolution is questioned, people seem shocked, asking “Well what do you want us to do, teach the Creation account of the Bible in schools?!?!?!?”
To that we would say no, not necessarily. The solution is really quite simple actually. Teach observable, realistic, provable fact. You can literally learn all FACTS there is to know about an organism, without teaching that inanimate matter accidentally morphed into it, or that it is going to morph into people eventually. Since nobody will ever witness inanimate matter spontaneously morphing into a living organism, what is the point of teaching that primordial soup is responsible for all life on Earth? Since lizards will never morph into people (or birds for that matter), what is the point of teaching it to children? You can learn the gestation period, mating habits, predators, prey, optimal habitat, and everything that anyone has ever observed about any organism without ever teaching Darwinism. You can even study natural selection, since it does happen, and just like it’s name implies it selects from genetic traits that already exist, without teaching Darwinism. You can even teach adaptation, including bacterial resistance to antibiotics, since all adaptations we have ever witnessed in scientific observation utilized variations of genetic information already in existence, or a loss of information, lending no credibility to the idea that information as complex as what is in our DNA somehow can be created by random processes. Also of note is that Darwin did not know what DNA was during his lifetime, and so he referred to the first life-forms as some sort of formless “goo,” and based his theory on his belief in their possible existence.
And what about teaching things that are known scientific facts that counter the claims of the theory of evolution? What if we informed schoolchildren that protein requires DNA to form, DNA requires protein to form, and both are required for the life of any living organism? What if teaching them this fact would make them question whether abiogenesis is possible, or even the theory of evolution entirely? Should we hold back information from students out of fear that they might not subscribe to Darwinism?
As a society, we should consider truth to be science wherever that may lead, instead of bending over backwards to remove God from all consideration. But in fact it is currently popular to remove God from all consideration, along with morals. Then when students show up to colleges and high schools with guns, murder their classmates, and either commit suicide or die in ammunition exchange with police, we ask, “how could this ever happen?” Well, if you teach students that life was a complete accident, in a purposeless universe with no God, and that morals are an illusion of your inanimate mind, what else should we expect?
There is no question that society tries its hardest to indoctrinate everyone they can with evolutionary, Darwinistic, atheistic belief. And so, it appears as if the most common reason people believe in evolution simply because it has been constantly preached to them so many times that it seems like truth. What other motivations could there be?
Pessimism? Some people assume the worst. Maybe they don’t like to get their hopes up about God for anything because they don’t like the feeling of being let down. It’s also possible to despair for attention, or prefer to feel sorry for one’s self.
Pride? Is pride a factor? Acknowledging God exists would mean that humans are no longer the smartest, most “evolved” beings in the Universe. Some have undoubtedly placed humans today on a pedestal of superiority, marveling at all we think we know, despite the fact that what we don’t know will absolutely dwarf what we do understand for a very long time, if not forever. It’s also possible that belief in a higher power seems too cheesy for many, and the temptation is to be above “the people that need it.” It is important to remember, however, that humans today aren’t necessarily smarter than humans of thousands of years ago. With all of our technology and scientific discovery, we have simply benefitted from the accumulation of knowledge.
Humanism? Humanistic desires are undoubtedly tempting to anyone; some of which you could call “sin.” If societies acknowledge God, then maybe the Netherlands would feel guilty for having rampant, legal prostitution, and many undoubtedly want to make their own rules. Given a choice, some people tend to do things that feel good for a long time after it’s over, even if it seems difficult at first, whereas Darwinism allows things that feel good temporarily, and that are easily regrettable for a long time after. Many prefer the latter, and the lacking of morals from Darwinistic philosophy seems like a significant factor in it’s desirability. In other words, many people are atheists simply because they want to make their own rules, even if those rules are detrimental to themselves and those around them.
See also an interesting article by a former atheist, about the psychology of atheism.
Blindness? No, not blindness of the eyes... When a person “blinds” his or her self by becoming obsessed with all the money they’ve made, there is not going to be a way or, as they may see it, a need to “see” God anymore. Since Darwinism offers a materialistic world-view, claiming that we are just collections of materials and nothing more, it seems to accommodate the love of money. This can be true for many things... money, possessions, power, addiction, drugs, desire, and lust, among others. Filling one’s self with desire for temporary things feels is tempting, but is markedly disparate from the feeling of letting God fill your soul, as God is the only thing in the Universe that isn’t temporary.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do no break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
- Matthew 6:19-21
As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
- Matthew 9:9-13
Evolution vs. Christianity
Many people have mixed beliefs regarding human origins. Many Christians and Jews believe all of our ancestors were people. Some believe that we descended from fish, since they were told to believe it by society. Still others aren’t sure what to believe. But the question is: does it make sense to believe in the origins story of atheism, a.k.a. the theory of evolution, if you are a Christian?
It is important to remember that the morals of societies throughout history generally have always directly conflicted with Christianity. For example, if virtually all popular television shows repeatedly tell us that adultery is accepted, should we then adopt it just because it is popular? Or, are we just witnessing an example of society’s complete rejection of God? Not only does society reject abstinence before marriage, they outright ridicule it. And why shouldn’t they? If everyone adhered to abstinence before marriage, it would wipe AIDS off the face of the Earth. And we wouldn’t want that now, would we...
Besides all of the scientific problems, unprovable beliefs, assumptions, and impossibilities associated with evolutionary belief, here are some Biblical reasons not to believe that bacteria morph into buffalo from both the Old and New Testaments. More will likely be added over time.

“...And there was evening, and there was morning- the first day.” - Genesis 1:5
“...And there was evening, and there was morning- the second day.” - Genesis 1:8
“...And there was evening, and there was morning- the third day.” - Genesis 1:13
“...And there was evening, and there was morning- the fourth day.” - Genesis 1:19
“...And there was evening, and there was morning- the fifth day.” - Genesis 1:23
“...And there was evening, and there was morning- the sixth day.” - Genesis 1:31
Doesn’t sound like millions, or billions, of years, does it? It’s almost as if the Bible is making it as clear as possible.

The Bible states birds and fish were made before land animals. Evolutionists believe land animals existed first, and morph into birds.

“So God created human beings in his own image,
in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” - Genesis 1:27
Almost sounds as if something is being reiterated. Paramecium wasn’t created in hopes that it would one day morph into people; human beings were actually directly created.

“By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” - Genesis 2:2-3
Is he blessing a day, or a period of millions of years? Let’s consider these excerpts from fourth commandment...
“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God....” - Exodus 20:8-10
“For in six days the LORD made the heavens and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day...” - Exodus 20:11

Perhaps the most important reason is what is mentioned in the New Testament; that Adam’s sin brought death into the world. Adam is repeatedly referred to as a real person who’s sin brought death into the world, and that through Jesus we are made righteous. In contrast, if evolution were true, trillions and trillions of living things would have suffered and died before Adam and Eve sinned, despite what the Bible makes clear:
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned-- To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is pattern of the one to come.
But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgement followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!”
- Romans 5:12-17
“For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a human being. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.”
- 1 Corinthians 15:21

Unlike our society today, people used to be able to keep track of their specific ancestry all the way back to Adam. This was completely possible until around 70 A.D., when the Romans destroyed the continuity of the Jewish records. And so, the Bible thankfully gives us Jesus’s ancestry all the way back through Adam. Luke traces Jesus’s biological ancestry through Mary’s side, who’s father was Heli. The Bible lists Joseph, son-in-law of Heli, instead of Mary, since only males were mentioned in genealogies. Matthew traces Jesus’ “royal” genealogy through Joseph’s side, even though Joseph wasn’t the biological father (originally planning to divorce Mary when she got pregnant, thinking she had committed adultery).
Here is the biological (Mary’s side) genealogy given in Luke. Considering this, it is safe to say that Jesus did not descend from monkeys, lizards, or fish.
Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry. He was the son, so it was thought, of Joseph,
the son of Heli, the son of Matthat,
the son of Levi, the son of Melki,
the son of Jannai, the son of Joseph,
the son of Mattathias, the son of Amos,
the son of Nahum, the son of Esli,
the son of Naggai, the son of Maath,
the son of Mattathias, the son of Semein,
the son of Josech, the son of Joda,
the son of Joanan, the son of Rhesa,
the son of Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel,
the son of Neri, the son of Melki,
the son of Addi, the son of Cosam,
the son of Elmadam, the son of Er,
the son of Joshua, the son of Eliezer,
the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat,
the son of Levi, the son of Simeon,
the son of Judah, the son of Joseph,
the son of Jonam, the son of Eliakim,
the son of Melea, the son of Menna,
the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan,
the son of David, the son of Jesse,
the son of Obed, the son of Boaz,
the son of Salmon, the son of Nahshon,
the son of Amminadab, the son of Ram,
the son of Hezron, the son of Perez,
the son of Judah, the son of Jacob,
the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham,
the son of Terah, the son of Nahor,
the son of Serug, the son of Reu,
the son of Peleg, the son of Eber,
the son of Shelah, the son of Cainan,
the son of Arphaxad, the son of Shem,
the son of Noah, the son of Lamech,
the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch,
the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel,
the son of Kenan, the son of Enosh,
the son of Seth, the son of Adam,
the son of God.
- Luke 3:23-37

Next, we have a direct quote from Jesus himself, stating that at the beginning of creation they were male and females that marry. Evolutionists generally don’t believe that the first organisms were male and female, but rather self replicating single-celled organisms (or inanimate chemicals?).
“But at the beginning of creation God made them male and female. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” - Mark 10:6-8

“Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of the water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.”
- 2 Peter 3:3-6
